From 8bit to mobile, the video game industry has a special place in my heart. 505 was looking to develop budget friendly websites for two of their top titles, Marvel Puzzle Quest and Hawken Reborn while still maxing the limit on creative style to show how fun the games are.

Mech combat

Hawken Reborn is a mech combat game with a loyal fanbase. Using the games key assets and styling we were able to take a high-energy game and show off its exciting gameplay.

Getting the party started

Marvel Puzzle Quest has a massive fanbase and is one of 505 Games top games. Utilizing a database driven site, we were able to use templates to narrow  the site down to 5 pages. Housing over 50 characters with unique traits, the website is easy to navigate to find the information needed on a character.

Unlock in-game action

Using 505 Game's API, we wrote a custom script to handle their Code Redemption offer of in-game addons. The page allowed 505 to create social posts giving away items within the game to drive more action.

By developing the custom script and working with the game's dev team, we designed a system for the user to enter a code, cross reference with current offers and then load the game with their new item on next play.

The result was a streamlined service handling over 200-500 requests a day!
